K&B Designs got started when Kriste realized her passion for interior design. She had a great appreciation for growing up in a tiny town in Missouri. Kriste studied Art at the University of Missouri and eventually transferred her art credits to complete her Interior Design Degree in North Carolina. While attending college in North Carolina she did an internship at a large building company in the kitchen and bath department. 

It was then she knew she wanted to pursue her love for interior design with an emphasis on kitchen and bath design.

Kriste now lives in Virginia Beach doing exactly what she dreamt of. Before launching her own company Kriste worked as an interior designer for Ethan Allen, and other building companies in the Hampton Roads area and Outer Banks of North Carolina. There she honed her craft and developed a familiarity with several semi-custom and custom cabinet lines. Today she’s an independent kitchen and bath Designer and enjoys creating kitchens for all budget levels.
